Happy Birthday Gran

I Wandered Lonely as a Cloud

I wandered lonely as a cloud
That floats on high o'er vales and hills,
When all at once I saw a crowd,
A host, of golden daffodils;
Beside the lake, beneath the trees,
Fluttering and dancing in the breeze.

Continuous as the stars that shine
And twinkle on the milky way,
They stretched in never-ending line
Along the margin of a bay:
Ten thousand saw I at a glance,
Tossing their heads in sprightly dance.

The waves beside them danced; but they
Out-did the sparkling waves in glee:
A poet could not but be gay,
In such a jocund company:
I gazed—and gazed—but little thought
What wealth the show to me had brought:

For oft, when on my couch I lie
In vacant or in pensive mood,
They flash upon that inward eye
Which is the bliss of solitude;
And then my heart with pleasure fills,
And dances with the daffodils.

I'm back ...

and ready to blog on with gusto!!

Sooooo, this year started with some really BIG news
that Mr P and I are really, really, really excited about.
BIG changes afoot folks, really BIG and life won't be the same again!!!
But that's all I'm going to say for now --- what a tease :0)

Am very tired at the mo - like super tired and have got myself really run down.
Half term heralded a super duper mother of all colds,
accompanied by a very annoying tickly cough and general malaise.
It's been a week of recouping and recharging, lots of rest and cups of tea.

But with half term coming to an unwelcome end,
I've had to bite the bullet and knuckle down.
Yesterday was all about data inputting.
I have ignored, avoided and diverted myself from the task all week
but yesterday I knew I had to grit my teeth and approach it head on.
However, to help things along the way I decided
that a little of what I fancied could certainly  do some good.

Mmmmmm .... brain food!!
Everyone needs a carrot, right?!
